IndiGo has announced the launch of new direct flights between Delhi and London Heathrow Airport, effective February 2, 2026. The airline will operate the route five times a week using Boeing 787 aircraft taken on wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways, featuring a dual-class configuration with IndiGoStretch and Economy Class.
Flight 6E 0003 will depart Delhi at 09:40 and arrive in London at 14:55 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The return service, 6E 0004, will depart London at 17:15 on the same days and arrive in Delhi at 08:15 the following day. All timings are in local time and subject to regulatory approvals.
With the addition of the Delhi–London service, IndiGo will operate a total of 12 weekly flights to London, complementing its existing daily direct flights between Mumbai and London Heathrow.
The new route underscores IndiGo’s steady expansion of international connectivity from the National Capital, following the recent launch of flights from Delhi to Denpasar (Bali), Krabi, Hanoi, Guangzhou and Manchester. The airline has also announced the introduction of direct services to Athens starting January 2026. Over the past 12 months, as part of its broader internationalisation strategy, IndiGo has added 10 new international destinations and launched more than 30 new international routes from various points across India.
Commenting on the announcement, Pieter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer, IndiGo, said, “We are pleased to introduce direct flights between Delhi and London, offering more travel options between India and the United Kingdom. This follows the recent launch of our direct flights from Mumbai to London, and services from Delhi and Mumbai to Manchester. The new service is expected to support growing demand for travel between the two cities for commerce, tourism, and visiting friends and family. IndiGo remains committed to making international travel seamless and more accessible, while strengthening connectivity between India and key global destinations.”
