Andhra Pradesh has added a striking new landmark to its tourism landscape with the opening of India’s longest cantilever glass skywalk at Kailasagiri hilltop park in Visakhapatnam. The attraction, located near the popular Titanic Viewpoint, was opened to the public on December 1, 2025, and is set to become one of the region’s most compelling viewpoints.
Soaring 862 feet above sea level, the glass bridge offers panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal on one side and the picturesque Eastern Ghats on the other, dramatically enhancing the visitor experience at one of the city’s most iconic locations.
The skywalk features a bold 55-metre cantilevered structure, built with high-grade imported German glass designed for exceptional clarity, strength, and safety. Engineered to handle up to 100 visitors at a time, the bridge blends world-class materials with innovative design, establishing a new benchmark for tourism infrastructure in the state.
Developed by the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) at a cost of ₹7 crore, the project highlights Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to creating modern, globally competitive tourism assets.
