Inaugural West India TRAVMART marks a major milestone in B2B travel networking

TTJ West India TRAVMART Pune

The debut edition of West India TRAVMART (WITM), held at the Hyatt Regency Pune on March 26–27, 2025, marked a significant advancement in TTJ TRAVMART’s mission to expand regional B2B travel networking across India. The event brought together 47 travel industry sellers and over 240 pre-registered buyers, facilitating more than 5,700 structured business meetings and strengthening industry collaboration across the western region.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana and an energising performance featuring the tutari and dhol, setting the stage for the high-powered networking that followed.

Presentations were delivered by Airwings of Nepal, Ren Tours of Bhutan, Bali DMC, Holland America Cruise Line, Booking Cabs, and Experience Kissimmee, which highlighted its multiple USPs, given their close proximity to Orlando. Chhattisgarh Tourism also showcased its rich and diverse tourism offerings.

50 outstation buyers from Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Kolhapur, Akola, and Sambhaji Nagar were hosted for the event. The buyers lauded the organisers for planning this unique and first-of-its-kind event in Pune, the quality and product mix of the sellers and the well-coordinated event flow.

TTJ TRAVMART Expands Across Key Indian Travel Markets

Spearheaded by Sampan Media Group, TTJ TRAVMART has grown into one of the most prominent B2B networking and knowledge-sharing platforms, aimed specifically at Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets across India. Now in its 8th edition, the one-day format has significantly extended its reach, serving as a vital link between travel buyers and sellers.

The concept of region-specific and two-day events began with the launch of the East India TRAVMART (EITM) in Kolkata three years ago. This was followed by the South India TRAVMART (SITM) in Chennai last year, marking significant milestones in the growth of TTJ TRAVMART’s regional presence. Now, with the introduction of the West India TRAVMART (WITM), the initiative is set to further strengthen its position as a prominent networking hub, expanding its reach and influence across key regions of India.

This new series of events marks the beginning of a larger, more comprehensive effort to bring together travel professionals from across the country in a series of focused, regional gatherings.
