IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Zon Hotels (Mumbai) Private Limited to develop InterContinental Mumbai Goregaon, further strengthening its luxury portfolio in India. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2030, the hotel will mark a significant addition to IHG’s presence in Mumbai, one of the country’s most important commercial and hospitality markets.
Located in Goregaon, a rapidly growing commercial and residential hub in Mumbai’s western suburbs, the hotel will feature 350 guest rooms, including 70 suites. Strategically positioned between Andheri and Malad, the property is expected to offer convenient access to key business districts, entertainment hubs and transport infrastructure, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
The signing reinforces IHG’s focus on expanding its luxury and lifestyle portfolio across key gateway cities in India, while strengthening the presence of its flagship InterContinental Hotels and Resorts brand in the market.

Guests at the hotel will have access to five dining venues, including specialty restaurants, a bar, an all-day dining outlet and a lobby lounge. The property will also feature extensive meeting and event facilities, including one of the largest ballrooms in Mumbai, positioning it as a significant venue for conferences, social events and weddings.
Additional facilities will include a fitness centre, spa, swimming pool, retail spaces and ample parking infrastructure.

InterContinental Hotels and Resorts currently operates more than 237 hotels globally, with over 100 properties in the pipeline. The brand is known for its luxury positioning and focus on connecting guests with local culture and experiences.
IHG currently operates 52 hotels across seven brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express. The company also has a strong pipeline of 98 hotels expected to open across the country over the next three to five years.
