The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Hennur, Bengaluru, marking a greenfield project and further strengthening its presence in the city.
Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Bengaluru’s growth story continues to evolve with suburbs and satellite cities emerging as vibrant development hubs. The 350-key Gateway Hennur, Bengaluru, will feature multiple dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a specialty restaurant and a lounge. The hotel will also offer extensive banqueting and conference facilities spanning over 16,000 sq. ft., complemented by modern meeting rooms. Wellness and recreation facilities will include a fully equipped gym, health club, swimming pool and dedicated treatment rooms.

Located in Bengaluru, Hennur is a rapidly developing suburb in North Bengaluru, offering proximity to major IT hubs and the airport, along with strong connectivity to key areas of the city.
With this signing, IHCL’s portfolio in Bengaluru will increase to 20 hotels, including 11 under development, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to the market.
