The India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), a body sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced its 15th Convention India Conclave (CIC) 2026 from August 19 to 21, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The flagship event is being organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and jointly hosted by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Delhi Tourism.
Themed “Powering the Future of Innovation,” the conclave will focus on all major segments of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, including incentive travel, exhibitions, association conferences and corporate meetings. The event aims to create new business development opportunities while showcasing India’s growing capabilities as a global MICE destination.
The 15th edition of the Convention India Conclave also assumes significance as ICPB continues its efforts to restructure and strengthen the organisation while reinforcing its role as the apex body for promoting India as a preferred convention destination globally.
Recognised as one of South Asia’s leading MICE networking platforms, the Convention India Conclave follows the format of international events such as IBTM, IT&CMA and IMEX, bringing together buyers and sellers from across the meetings and convention industry through a premium B2B platform.
A key highlight of the conclave will be its exhibition and pre-scheduled B2B meetings programme. The organisers expect participation from 350 to 400 delegates, including domestic and international buyers, along with 75 to 100 exhibitors representing various sectors of the meetings and events industry.
The two-day business programme will feature conference sessions and panel discussions covering topics such as technology innovation in the meetings industry, corporate incentive travel, and synergies between the exhibition and conference sectors. Renowned international keynote speakers will also share global perspectives and best practices shaping the future of the MICE industry.
According to ICPB, the conclave will serve as an important platform for industry leaders, policymakers, convention bureaux, destination representatives and event professionals to exchange ideas, discuss emerging trends and explore collaborative opportunities for strengthening India’s meetings and conventions sector.
The organisers said the event is expected to further position India as a competitive global destination for business events while fostering dialogue on innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth across the MICE ecosystem.
