In a strong show of confidence, members of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) have elected Ravi Gosain as President and his entire team in the general elections held today at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi.
The election saw a total of 389 votes cast, with 270 members voting in person in NCR and 119 votes received from outstation members. The clear and emphatic mandate showcased the strong backing for the re-elected leadership.
The elections saw the selection of key office bearers:
President: Ravi Gosain won with 263 votes. His opponent, Amaresh Kumar Tiwari, CIS, CITP, received 124 votes.
Senior Vice President: Rajnish Kaistha won with 250 votes.
Vice President: Sanjay Razdan won with 253
Honorary Secretary: Sunil Mishra won with 233
Honorary Treasurer: Deepak Bhatnagar won with 254
Honorary Joint Secretary: Viney Tyagi won with 229 votes
Executive Committee Members (Active): Harish Mathur won with 248 votes, Dr. Manoj Matta won with 222 votes, Rishi Kapoor won with 206 votes, Sejoe Jose won with 221 votes and Tony Marwah won with 240 votes.
Executive Committee Members (Allied): Ashok Dhoot won with 269 votes, P. Vijayasarthy won with 256 votes and Wasim Shaikh won with 171 votes.
Homa Mistry, CEO, Trail Blazer Tours India, served as the Returning Officer, overseeing the electoral process and ensuring a smooth, fair, and transparent election.
