In a recent development, the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) Executive Committee has appointed Gurinder Singh as the Chairman of the IATO Punjab Chapter, effective January 6, 2025.
Gurinder Singh, the Managing Director, Discover Punjab Tours and Travels, brings over two decades of experience in the tourism industry. Operating from Amritsar, Punjab, Singh has been actively contributing to the sector since 2004, making him a seasoned professional in promoting tourism in the region.
The IATO Executive Committee expressed confidence in Singh’s ability to strengthen the association’s membership base and foster collaboration with Punjab Tourism and other stakeholders. With his extensive network and close association with Punjab Government tourism officials, IATO aims to work closely with the state government to enhance tourism opportunities and drive growth in the region.
