Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency London Olympia, located within London’s newly redeveloped £1.3 billion Olympia destination. The launch marks Hyatt’s fifth Hyatt Regency property in London as the company continues to expand its presence in the UK capital and across the country.
Situated opposite Kensington Olympia station, the 204-room hotel forms part of Olympia’s large-scale regeneration into a mixed-use destination for business, culture, entertainment and dining. The property offers convenient access to central London, Heathrow Airport and nearby attractions including Holland Park, Kensington Palace, the Design Museum and the Natural History Museum.

Housed within Emberton House, originally built in 1937 as one of Europe’s largest multi-storey car parks, the hotel has been redeveloped by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC, with interiors designed by London-based studio twenty2degrees. The design incorporates Art Deco influences while celebrating Olympia’s history through bespoke artwork inspired by the venue’s heritage, including references to photographer Eadweard Muybridge, early computing exhibitions and renowned musicians who have performed at Olympia.
The hotel introduces three dining concepts. The 1937 Lounge & Bar serves coffee, light meals and cocktails throughout the day, while The Market offers grab-and-go options. Adjacent to the hotel, Idalia restaurant, located within the Grade II-listed Pillar Hall, serves modern British cuisine with European and Asian influences under chefs Samantha Williams and Lorena Tommasi.
Accommodation comprises 204 guestrooms and suites across 14 room categories, featuring dedicated workspaces, smart technology, keyless entry and energy-efficient systems designed to enhance guest comfort and convenience.
The property also offers more than 900 sq ft of flexible meeting and event space across three meeting rooms. Guests additionally benefit from proximity to Olympia’s new international convention centre, which can accommodate up to 20,000 delegates.
Wellness facilities include an on-site fitness centre, direct access to a premium fitness studio within the Olympia complex, nearby floodlit tennis courts and easy access to Holland Park.
