ITC Hotels recently announced the appointment of Himanshu Batra, as the Resident Manager of ITC Narmada – A luxury collection property of ITC Hotels in Ahmedabad, which will soon be launched and operationalised.
At ITC Narmada, Himanshu will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the hotel and making processes better and more efficient to elevate guests’ experience at the property.
A graduate in tourism studies and a post graduate diploma in hospitality management from ITC Limited’s own institution, Welcomgroup Management Institute, Himanshu brings along a diverse and rich 14-year experience in Front Office operations. He has worked at various ITC’s properties managing both the leisure and business segment.
Having begun his career at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur in 2008, Himanshu has worked with various ITC Hotels including ITC Mughal in Agra, ITC Windsor and ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru and the ITC Grand Chola in Chennai, among others.
With his sharp business acumen coupled with a holistic approach to marketing and revenue management over an impressive career spanning nearly over a decade and half, Himanshu has improved the guest satisfaction index at various ITC Hotels, in addition to attaining certification Green Belt from Quality Assurance through Six Sigma. He has played an instrumental role in setting up the Front Office Operations as a part of the opening team at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru as an Assistant Manager.
Himanshu brings along a sound business insight that enables him to adopt a top-bottom approach towards strategic planning of hotel operations and executing it to perfection ensuring the ITC promise of hospitality, as he prepares for the pre-opening of ITC Narmada.
