In a significant development for Rajasthan’s tourism sector, the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR) have been inducted into the Mission Directorate committee under the Government of India’s SASCI (Swadesh Darshan 2.0) scheme.
This move marks a key step toward inclusive and collaborative tourism development in the state. The committee, chaired by the Principal Secretary of Tourism, also includes representatives from key departments such as Forest, Urban Development, and Heritage, ensuring a holistic approach to planning and execution.
FHTR President Kuldeep Singh Chandela and HRAR President Tarun Bansal expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari for their continued support and recognition of industry stakeholders.
The inclusion of FHTR and HRAR in the SASCI Mission Directorate is expected to further strengthen efforts toward sustainable tourism, enhanced infrastructure, and community-based tourism initiatives across Rajasthan.
