In a move set to redefine India-Latin America travel connectivity, DMCBazaar, an AI-driven B2B platform for Destination Management Companies, has entered into a strategic partnership with Peru’s travel curator, Tucano Peru. This collaboration aims to capture the rapidly growing interest among Indian travellers in exploring Peru, a destination known for its ancient heritage, natural wonders and vibrant culture.
Indian outbound travel to Latin America has recorded steady growth in recent years, with Peru emerging as a strong aspirational destination. Searches related to Machu Picchu, Peruvian cuisine and Andean adventure experiences have increased by over 60 per cent among Indian travellers over the past two years. However, despite this rising demand, access to curated, reliable and scalable Peruvian travel products remains limited for the Indian travel trade.
The DMCBazaar–Tucano Peru partnership seeks to bridge this gap by combining Tucano Peru’s deep on-ground destination expertise with DMCBazaar’s AI-powered digital supply solutions. The initiative is focused on strengthening market readiness through the co-creation of Peru-centric travel itineraries, destination training programmes for Indian travel agents, and the development of a robust digital framework to support future live inventory integration.
While Peru ranks among the top three desired long-haul destinations for Indian millennials and adventure travellers, it currently accounts for less than two per cent of outbound travel from India to the Americas. By aligning trusted local operations with scalable technology-led access to India’s travel trade network, the partnership aims to build consistency, confidence and long-term growth in the India–Peru travel corridor.
Commenting on the partnership, Varun Sarda and Irshad Mahmood Dadan, Co-Founders of DMCBazaar, said, “This is a partnership built on foresight. We’re combining Tucano’s destination mastery with our platform intelligence to fuel the next wave of India-Peru travel. This is just the beginning of our Latin America journey.”
Veronica Napuri, CEO & Founder, Tucano Peru, said, “This partnership strategically connects Peru’s authenticity with India’s growth. By leveraging DMCBazaar’s digital reach and our destination mastery, we are building the most efficient and scalable bridge for Indian travellers to discover Peru. It’s a new model for cross-continental travel trade.”
