Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) will undergo temporary restrictions in preparation for the Republic Day 2025 celebrations. IGIA handles approximately 1,300 flights daily, and the changes are being implemented as part of security measures during the national event.

The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has announced that flights will not land or take off during specified hours from January 19, 2025 (Sunday), to January 26, 2025 (Sunday). A ‘Notice to Airmen’ (NOTAM) issued by the airport authority states that operations will be suspended daily between 10:20 am and 12:45 pm IST during this period.

DIAL shared this update on its social media platform, advising passengers to stay informed about their flight schedules. “As per the NOTAM issued for Republic Day from 19th to 26th Jan, no flights would be arriving or departing from Delhi Airport between 10:20 am to 12:45 pm IST,” the advisory noted.

Passengers are advised to confirm their flight timings with their respective airlines to avoid inconvenience and plan their travel accordingly.
