Auxilia Networks partners with Iceland’s Your Friend in Reykjavik to expand Nordic presence in India

Auxilia Networks, a tourism consultancy and representation agency in India, has announced a collaboration with Iceland-based tour operator Your Friend in Reykjavik (YFIR).

As part of the agreement, Auxilia Networks will represent YFIR in India, focusing on trade engagement and training, marketing promotions, and public relations.

YFIR has been operating for over 12 years, offering a range of travel services including scheduled and private walking tours in Reykjavik, day excursions, full Iceland itineraries, transfer services, dining experiences, and access to unique accommodations. The company caters to travel agencies, corporate clients and event planners, and is recognised for its tailored travel solutions, supported by multiple Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards and strong customer reviews.

Valur Heidar Saevarsson, CEO and Founder of YFIR, said, “We’ve been building towards India for a while and wanted to do it properly, with the right partner who truly understands the market. In Auxilia, we found exactly that. Iceland offers Indian travellers something genuinely different: raw nature, Viking heritage, the midnight sun and the Northern Lights. With Auxilia’s network and expertise behind us, we’re confident we can bring that story to the Indian trade in a way that converts into real bookings.”

Paramjit Bawa, Founder and Principal, Auxilia Networks, said, “Hot on the heels of our association with the Nordic Tourism Collective earlier this year, we are now delighted to welcome to the Auxilia family, premium Nordic tour operator Your Friend In Reykjavik. In keeping with our vision of only associating with top quality partners for the benefit of our valued Indian trade fraternity, YFIR is a perfect addition to our portfolio, being widely acknowledged as the best of its kind in the Nordic region for several years. We are excited by this collaboration and look forward to connecting our trade colleagues in India with YFIR to support their outbound business to that part of Europe.”
