Aroya Cruises appoints Griffon Cruises as Preferred Sales Agent for Indian market

Saudi Arabia’s Aroya Cruises, a unit of Cruise Saudi, has appointed Griffon Cruises as its International Preferred Sales Agent for the Indian market, effective December 12, 2025. Under this partnership, Griffon Cruises will market, promote, and sell Aroya Cruises across India, strengthening the cruise line’s presence in one of its key emerging source markets.

Launched in December 2024, Aroya Cruises is Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown cruise line and has already welcomed over 140,000 passengers in its debut year, establishing itself as a notable new entrant in the global cruise industry. Designed to blend modern cruising with authentic Arabian hospitality, Aroya offers a distinctive, family-focused cruise experience. The ship features 19 decks and can accommodate up to 4,700 guests, positioning it as a floating destination that combines comfort, entertainment, dining, and immersive experiences at sea.

Aroya Cruises places strong emphasis on multi-generational travel, with 200 connecting cabins and 20 adjoining cabins thoughtfully designed for families travelling with children and grandparents. Kids’ and teens’ areas are thoughtfully designed with age-specific venues, including a Nursery for children aged 6 months to 2 years, Discoverers’ Zone for ages 3 to 6, Captain’s Zone for ages 7 to 12, and Teens Escape for those aged 13 to 17. The ship also features a wide range of sports and activity facilities such as a water slide park, football ground, zip line, and climbing wall. For adults, dedicated venues include a Shisha Lounge, Cigar Lounge, Sky Pool Lounge, and Mini Golf. As a family-oriented cruise, alcohol is not permitted on board.

Operating year-round, Aroya Cruises sails across multiple regions, including the Red Sea from Jeddah during January–February and September–November, the Arabian Gulf from Dubai between March and May, and the Aegean Sea and Eastern Mediterranean from Istanbul during June–August. Select Aegean itineraries are offered without the requirement of a Schengen visa, adding to the appeal for travellers from India.
