The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has awarded a contract to Alhind Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd for outsourcing consular support services in the UAE, according to an official notice issued on April 20, 2026.
The contract follows a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued in November 2025 for outsourcing services including consular, passport, visa, OCI, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), Surrender Certificate (SC), Global Entry Program (GEP) verification and miscellaneous attestation services at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai.
Four companies, Alhind Tours and Travels, DU Digital Global, SGIVS Global and VFS Global, qualified for the financial bid stage, which was opened on March 30, 2026.
Following evaluation, the financial bid results were announced on April 20, 2026, at the Embassy in the presence of company representatives and members of the outsourcing committee. Alhind Tours and Travels was declared the lowest bidder (L1) based on the service fee quoted and was subsequently awarded the contract with the approval of the competent authority.
