Air India

A missile attack near Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport forced an Air India flight from Delhi to divert to Abu Dhabi on Sunday. In response to the security situation, the Tata Group-owned airline has suspended all services to and from Tel Aviv until Tuesday, May 6, 2025, prioritising the safety of its passengers and crew.

In a post shared on platform X (formerly Twitter), Air India stated, “Consequent to developments in Tel Aviv this morning, our operations to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended with immediate effect till 6th May 2025, to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Our colleagues on ground are assisting customers and helping them with alternative arrangements.”

The airline also announced that customers with valid bookings between May 4 and May 6 will be offered a one-time waiver for rescheduling or a full refund if they cancel their travel plans.

The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with local authorities and will resume operations once conditions are deemed safe.
