Hanoi becomes Air India’s second destination in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City, and its eighth in Southeast Asia.

The new service complements the airline’s daily operations to Ho Chi Minh City, enabling travellers to plan flexible itineraries, including open-jaw travel between the two Vietnamese cities. Passengers can now arrive in Hanoi and depart from Ho Chi Minh City, or vice versa, facilitating both leisure and business travel.

Operated by an Airbus A320neo aircraft, the service features a three-class cabin configuration with Business, Premium Economy and Economy, offering a full-service experience on the route.

The Delhi–Hanoi flight also provides onward connectivity for passengers travelling between Vietnam and destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe via Air India’s hub in Delhi.

Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India, said, “Vietnam has rapidly evolved into a high-potential market for Indian travellers, supported by strong leisure demand, growing business exchanges and rising interest in multi-city holidays. With Hanoi joining our network alongside Ho Chi Minh City, we are creating more choice, greater convenience and stronger connectivity between the two countries as well as enabling traffic between Europe and Vietnam.”
