Air India Express announced on Tuesday an enhancement to its baggage policy, increasing the checked-in baggage allowance to 30 kg, up from the previous 20 kg, for passengers traveling to the Middle East and Singapore. Additionally, travellers will benefit from a 7-kilogram cabin baggage allowance, further improving the convenience for passengers.
The revised policy allows passengers to carry up to two pieces of cabin baggage with a combined weight not exceeding 7 kg. This includes a laptop bag, handbag, backpack, or small bag with dimensions not exceeding 40 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm, ensuring they can fit comfortably under the seat in front.
For families traveling with infants, Air India Express has introduced an extra 10 kg check-in baggage allowance, bringing the total baggage capacity to 47 kg, including cabin baggage.
