Air France has introduced its highly anticipated new La Première suite, a refined expression of French elegance and luxury, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to excellence in premium air travel.

Unveiled as a major milestone in Air France’s strategic vision, the redesigned La Première suite offers an unparalleled experience, blending state-of-the-art design with sophisticated comfort.

Benjamin Smith, President of Air France and CEO of Air France-KLM Group, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, “The launch of our new La Première experience is a major step in our strategic roadmap. We continue to invest in state-of-the-art products for our customers at every step of their journey, with the aim of positioning Air France at the highest level worldwide. With a new private ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and a completely redesigned, larger-than-ever La Première suite onboard, this new experience truly is the highest expression of travel. It continues to be elevated by our dedicated staff, who strive to make each journey an exceptional moment. Going forward, we will make this new product available on more aircraft to more destinations, a testament to our commitment to excellence”

Four suites will progressively be introduced on a selection of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The first aircraft to feature the new La Première cabin, named Épernay, will take off in the spring and fly to New York-JFK. Other destinations, including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda, will be added during the summer 2025 season.

Comfort and Personalisation

Developed over three years, the suite boasts an innovative design featuring a seat and a chaise longue that seamlessly transforms into a full-flat bed measuring two meters long and 75 centimetres wide. The suite provides nearly 3.5 square meters of private space, offering 25 per cent more room compared to the current La Première cabin.

The suite’s ergonomic seating is complemented by plush materials, including an embossed leather headrest featuring Air France’s iconic winged seahorse emblem. Passengers can adjust their seats to different flight phases, such as takeoff, landing, dining, and relaxation. Each suite is enclosed by thick floor-to-ceiling curtains for complete privacy, while select suites feature a five-window layout, an exclusive Air France offering.

The La Première suite features premium materials such as full-grain leather, plush wool, and elegant textiles designed exclusively for Air France. Created in partnership with STELIA Aerospace, Design Investment studio, and SGK Brandimage agency, the suite embodies a refined aesthetic with a color palette dominated by shades of gray, accented with deep reds and champagne metallic tones. The absence of overhead compartments enhances the sense of spaciousness, while a personal wardrobe, backlit mirror, and dedicated storage solutions ensure convenience for travelers.

Cutting-edge Technology and In-Flight Entertainment

Passengers will experience an advanced entertainment system featuring two 32-inch 4K screens, offering a vast selection of movies, music, and TV shows. Noise-canceling headphones are provided, and Bluetooth connectivity allows travelers to use their personal devices seamlessly.

An intuitive wireless touchscreen tablet enables guests to adjust lighting, window shades, and seat positions with ease. Moreover, Air France is set to introduce an ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi service across its fleet, ensuring a seamless connectivity experience in the sky.

La Première is currently available from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, and Washington DC. With the launch of the new suite, Air France plans to expand its La Première offerings to additional aircraft and routes, solidifying its position among the world’s leading luxury airlines.
